Free Twitter/X thread generator

Paste a long draft and get it broken into posts that fit, split at sensible points rather than mid-sentence. Nothing is rewritten — the words are yours, only the breaks are added.

Free browser templates and text formatting. No AI service or API key is used. Replace bracketed prompts and review the result. Your source stays in this browser unless you choose Save in Cadencz.

It splits conservatively, on purpose

The tool leaves headroom below the limit rather than filling every post to the edge. Numbering costs characters, and a thread that fits exactly in the composer can fail when you add "3/9" to each part.

Breaks land at sentence ends where possible. A thread cut mid-clause reads as broken software rather than as a deliberate pause, and the reader notices.

What makes a thread worth threading

A thread is the right format when a point genuinely needs several steps: a sequence, a walkthrough, a before and after. It is the wrong format when one post would have done and the thread exists to look substantial.

The first post has to work alone, because most people will only ever see that one. If it only makes sense as an introduction to the rest, the thread will not travel.
